Janowska/Yanivski Camp
Janowska was a labor camp on the outskirts of Lviv during the war. Over 100,000 Jews were murdered here, primarily in a ravine behind the camp. The rest were marched to the nearby Kleparov train station and then transported to the Belzec death camp.
Today, the camp houses a prison. The large perpendicular structure is part of the original camp.
